In 2024-2025 I, Malene, sustained severe trauma and abuse at The Guidance Center in Flagstaff AZ. In my opinion, they broke laws and ethics with impunity and as (I believe) they knew, there was almost no consequences for their atrocious behavior. Between Trust and Trauma was established after this experience both as a way to survive what happened, and eventually, as a way to work on accountability for clinics across the country.

During the worst of it I established a medium blog page to both document what was happening and to allow myself to process through writing, as I was at risk of suicide and needed an outlet.

This is the blog.
With well over 100 articles, I have pulled out some of the better or more relevant writing here.

This is an overview of what happened
