From June 2024 to December 2025, Dr. Oleg Isakov, MD, of Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, subjected his patient Alan Kesler to what I can only describe as reckless, off-label poly-pharmacology — combined with what appeared to be an abrupt and unsupported withdrawal of psychiatric medications.
The results were predictably horrific. You can read Alan’s story here.
Alan will never fully recover physically. Tardive Dyskinesia is a lifetime diagnosis. Dr. Oleg Isakov, MD, will at most receive a slap on the wrist, with luck he will get a letter of concern from his licensing board — and in my opinion, his incompetence is staggering. Here at Between Trust and Trauma, we can only recommend that any future patients of Dr. Isakov’s read this first, and then find another doctor. For their own safety.
As expected, Brookdale University Hospital is currently protecting this doctor — standard practice, until the public exposure becomes expensive enough that he transforms from an asset into a liability. At that point, they’ll drop him faster than you can say Dr. Oleg Isakov.
I’ve seen this exact playbook before, in my own fight against The Guidance Center. Institutions close ranks. It makes their clinicians feel protected — right up until it doesn’t. The clinic isn’t protecting the clinician; it’s protecting its own assets. The moment keeping them becomes uncomfortable, they’re gone. There’s something almost pathetic about watching a clinician place their trust in an employer that ruthless — only to find themselves alone in front of a licensing board, with my writing as part of the record.
Either way — Dr. Oleg Isakov, MD, I see you. I see exactly how irresponsible, cruel, and incompetent you are (yeah, yeah, in my opinion, naturally). You will stay on blast right here, until or unless your former client requests otherwise.
